Community Development Officer
12 Month, Temporary Post
(Salary circa £22,000-£25,500)
The Central Scotland Green Network (CSGN) seeks to change the face of Central Scotland, by restoring and transforming the landscape of an area stretching from Ayrshire and Inverclyde in the west, to Fife and the Lothians in the east.
As the lead body, charged with delivering the CSGN, the Central Scotland Green Network Trust is looking to recruit a Community Development Officer to work with communities across the CSGN area. The post will focus on recording and engaging communities who are interested in development or management of their woodlands and community green spaces, supporting community engagement and development of funding applications.
This is a temporary 12 month post (35 hours per week) based in our offices in Shotts, North Lanarkshire. Travel within Central Scotland will be required; a clean driving licence and access to a car are essential. We offer flexible working and are open to alternative work patterns such as reducing 5 days per week to 4 days per week (which could effectively lengthen the contract). We will consider alternative work locations to minimise travel time and we would be happy to consider secondment opportunities.
Make our recruitment greener by downloading your application form at www.csgnt.org.uk/about-us/vacancies. Additional information about CSGNT and the appointment is also available for download.
Please send your completed application form along with your CV and any other supporting material in PDF format to firstname.lastname@example.org
